MOORE, GARY KENDELL, age 79, of Weidman passed away Monday, November 5, 2018, at Green Acres under the care of Mid Michigan Hospice.

Funeral Services for Gary will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 9, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gordy Houser officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A Luncheon will be held in the Reflections Reception Center following the Committal Service. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Mid Michigan Hospice or the Central Michigan Free Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Gary was born on November 10, 1938, in Morgantown, WV, the son of Madison and Goldie (Haught) Moore. He married the love of his life, Janice LaVonne Willoughby, on August 18, 1956. Gary and Janice owned and operated Pleasant Graphics and the Gulf Gas Station in Mt. Pleasant for many years. Gary also worked in the oilfields, Pioneer Sugar Beet Warehouse, and as a bit salesman, achieving top salesman award for Reed and Walker McDonald drill bits. Gary is a Hall of Fame bowler. He enjoyed playing golf, coaching Pony League, spending time at Coldwater Lake, and traveling in his motorhome.

Gary is survived by his children, Terry (Sue) Moore of Elwell, Ginger (Doug Blizzard) Deming of Shepherd, Delma (John) Casto of Petoskey, and Lindy (Tim) Welch of Phoenix, AZ; 9 grandchildren, Danielle (Jeremy) Payne, Jeremy (Melissa) Deming, Devin (Lindsay) Neff, Tonya (Joe Brown) Deming, Meghan (Brandon) Slater, Sara (Andrew) Miotto, Leah (Mark) McIntire, Mason (Julia Vosos) Welch, and Zoe Welch; 14 great-grandchildren, Braddock and Bennett Payne, Cayden and Austin Deming, Amiya and Alivia Neff, Connor Bryan, and Cole Brown, Griffin, Layna, and Gavin Slater, Kendra, Kayla, and Kristofer McIntire; brother, Eric (Connie) Moore of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Belva York and Shirley Foster, both of Mt. Pleasant; brother-in-law, Lyle (Mary Lou) Willoughby of Shepherd; and sister-in-law, Joyce Demlow of Mt. Pleasant.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Janice Moore on April 27, 2018; parents; mother and father-in-law, Elton and Helen Willoughby; brother, Bob Moore; sisters, Phyllis Breedlove and Jackie Cotter; and brother-in-law, Ron Demlow.
