Obituary

Findlay, Geneva F., age 93 of Hesperia, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Prestige Centre in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Due to Covid19, there will be no service at this time.

Interment has taken place in West Hesperia Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hesperia Community Library or the American Red Cross.

Geneva was born May 17, 1926 in Levitt Twp., Oceana County, MI., the daughter of Floyd and June (Lydens) Robinson. She married William J. Findlay on September 21, 1946. Geneva worked as secretary at Hesperia High School during the 60's and 70's, then later at the Hesperia Public Library. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, crocheting and her family.

Geneva is survived by her daughter, Janice (Mark) Davis at Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren, Michelle Martin of Pentwater, Jeff Mollett of Pentwater, Jennifer (Tim) Martin of Coopersville, Rebecca Mollett of Round Lake, IL and Amy Davis of Grand Rapids, five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, brother, Gene (MaryAnn) Robinson of St. Joseph, sister, Connie McKinney of Lansing, sisters-in-law, Shirley Robinson, Jean Findlay and Louise Findlay.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, daughter, Joyce Mollett, sister, Velma Herrygers, and brothers, Ivan, Norman, Manley and Carlton Robinson.

I am so sorry to hear of Ginny's passing. I think she was working at the Library when my daughter attended "Charlie Brown Story Hour" :-) She was one of my favorite Avon customers, I really missed her when she had to move from Hesperia. My thoughts and prayers for peace are with your family. I will be donating to the Hesperia Community Library in her honor.
