Gerald Rueben Bergey (Jerry) was born to Janet Bergey (Tinker) and Harry Bergey on May 16, 1965 in
Clare, MI.
Jerry was a hard worker and had a heart of gold. He would help anyone and everyone. He did a lot of
volunteering for the community. His favorite volunteer place was the Harrison Moose Lodge where you
could find him there every Friday night working the fish fry and he was always the first one to step up
when volunteers were needed.
Jerry loved spending time with his family and friends and especially loved spending time with his great
nieces and nephews.
Jerry is survived by his sons Alex Bergey, wife Devin and granddaughters Amiah and Alyse of Sulphur,
Louisiana and Patrick Pina and granddaughter Penelope of Orange, Texas. His mother Janet Tinker of
Harrison and several siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father Harry Bergey and a brother Harry Bergey.
There will be a memorial dinner at the Harrison Moose Lodge on Saturday February 11, 2023 at 4:00 pm.
