FISH, GERTRUDE BERTHA, age 92 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility on Saturday, December 5th, 2020.
Funeral services for Gertrude will be Friday December 11th at 11am. Family will receive friends on Thursday December 10th at Faith Lutheran Church from 7 to 9 pm, and from 10 am until the time of service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or the Isabella Medical Care Facility. Donation envelopes will be available at the church.
Those attending the visitation and service are asked to wear masks. Masks will be available at the church.
Gertrude was born February 11th, 1928 to Roy and Juanita Jarman (Coulp) She attended Weidman agricultural school and worked as a waitress. She later worked as a seamstress and was the housekeeping supervisor for Central Michigan Hospital as well as The Masonic Home where she retired.
Gertrude married Robert Fish on August 30th 1947 in Mt. Pleasant. She loved to sew and knit, collect dolls and was a devout member of Faith Lutheran Church of Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by her 5 Children; Steven (Debra) Fish of Mt. Pleasant, Cheryl (Jr.) Cotter of Rosebush, Cindy (Larry) Kole of Rosebush, Cozette (Jim) Painter of Tarpon Springs, FL, and William (Jayne) Fish of Mt. Pleasant; brothers Dale (Mary) Jarmen of Mt. Pleasant, Roy (Kathy) Jarman of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Patsy Monroe of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Robert of 50 years, sisters Mary Smith, Lucia Jakeman, Edith Leonard and Joyce Jarman, brother Jack Jarman and great-grandchild Maci Bingham.
