Obituary for Grant Lee Gauld
GAULD, GRANT LEE, age 46, of Shepherd, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
Funeral Services for Grant will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Mora officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in Reflections Reception Center. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, August 30 and one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund to be set up for his sons. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Grant was born in Mt. Pleasant on August 29, 1974, the son of Gordon and Janice (London) Gauld. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1992. Grant was a heavy equipment operator for the past 13 years with WDS Enterprise in Shepherd. He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, and most of all time with his boys. Grant was a dedicated, hard worker. He could fix and build anything, and always there for his family during tough times.
Grant is survived by his partner Bailey Sharrar of Shepherd; his sons Gage Lee Gauld and Gram Brantlee Gauld and their mother JuliAnn Gauld of Alma; stepchildren Payton and Ava McCaul of Shepherd; mother Janice Gauld of Mt. Pleasant; brothers David (Karen) Gauld of Reese, Glen Gauld of Mt. Pleasant, Paul (Rachelle) Gauld of Shepherd; sisters Beth (Joe) Bryant of Shepherd, Pam (Tony) Mazzali of Haslett; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Grant was preceded in death by his father.
