Harry Smith, Jr., age 83, of St. Louis, MI, died Friday, October 5, 2018, at Schnepp Health Care Center in St. Louis surrounded by family.

Harry was born April 14, 1935, in St. Louis, MI, the son of Harry and Rose Smith. He worked for GM in Lansing and then went to do roofing after leaving GM. He was a member at the Alma Church of the Nazarene. He was a very sociable person, loved talking, joking and flirting. He loved his family and really enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved cooking big meals when he was younger.

Harry is survived by his children Chris (Ken) Hill, June (Jeff) Wesley, David (Lisa) Smith, Dave (Donna) Brown, Clarence (Pat) Smith, Jon Smith, and Carmin Smith. He had 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He also had many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Rose Smith, 6 brothers and 7 sisters. He was the last one to die out of his family.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, October 20, at 2 p.m. at the Alma Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Clarence Smith (his son) will be officiating the service. Memorials can be designated to the family to help with the expenses. Envelopes will be available at the Memorial Service or you may send them to Clarence Smith at 122 Sharrar St., Alma, MI.
