It's hard to pinpoint one memory that stands out more than the other- but, one of my first funny memories is of Grandpa driving home from Farwell where we had all gone out to dinner. I don't remember the occasion, but on the way home Grandpa was swerving all over the road. At some point it was mentioned to stay on the right side or he'd get pulled over, and that he may have even run a stop sign. I don't remember the reason for the swerving, but sure enough the police noticed and he was pulled over. I must have been 3 or 4 years old and this was quite an exciting experience. To the best of my recollection, he was let go with a warning and we made it home safe and sound. Grandpa was always a kind person and very soft spoken. He loved his "slop" and I don't think it's possible to look at a graham cracker without thinking of that. I love you and miss you more than words can ever describe Grandpa. -Danielle.
