Obituary for Jayne Marie Fish

FISH, JAYNE MARIE, age 58, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021, at McLaren Bay surrounded by her loving family.

A Funeral Mass for Jayne will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Don Henkes officiating. For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be broadcast live at Jayne’s Book of Memories at www.clarkfuneralchapel.com or at https://www.facebook.com/clarkfuneralchapel. A Luncheon will follow the service at the Mt. Pleasant VFW Hall. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and the church.

Jayne was born July 8, 1962, in Mt. Pleasant to Harry and Shirley (Little) Klein. She married William R. Fish on September 11, 1981, at Zion Lutheran Church of Mt. Pleasant. Their marriage was later blessed at St. Henry’s Catholic Church. She worked at CMU for 36 years, first in food service and then custodial department. Jayne was the epitome of helping others. She cared deeply as if they were family and went out of her way for them. Jayne was a beacon of light and positive energy and life in this world and will be dearly missed.

Jayne is survived by her husband of 39 years, William Fish of Mt. Pleasant; mother, Shirley Klein of Mt. Pleasant; her children Theresa (Scott Lincoln) Klein of Shepherd, Zachary (Nallely Lara) Fish of Scotsdale, AZ, and Sophia (William Thompson) Fish of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren William Charles Michael Fish and Kristina Ann Marie Fish-Burr; brothers Don Klein of Howell and LeRoy Klein of Mt. Pleasant; sisters-in-law Rhonda Klein of Mt. Pleasant and Shirley Klein of Coral Springs, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Jayne was preceded in death by her father Harry Klein II; brothers Harry Michael Klein III, Thomas Joseph Klein, and Jeffory Richard Klein.
