Obituary for Jeanette Ellen Haggart
HAGGART, JEANETTE ELLEN, age 70, of Rosebush, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, surrounded by family at her home.
Cremation will take place at Daisy Hill in Mt. Pleasant. Per Jeanette’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Jeanette was born August 3, 1952, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the daughter of Jess “J.A.” and Kathleen (Reihl) McCoy. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy with the class of 1970. Jeanette worked for the Social Security Administration for 35 years, retiring in 2005. She married Greg Haggart on June 13, 1986, and together they enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, spending winters in Gulf Shores, and camping in the summer. Jeanette also liked to read, scrapbook, and spend time with her grandkids, watching and following their sports and extracurricular activities.
Jeanette is survived by her husband Greg, daughter Lisa (Brad) Antcliff of Beal City; son Ryan (Jennifer) Bellinger of Stevensville; grandchildren Kelsey (Shane) Adkins, Natalie Antcliff, Paige Antcliff, Logan Bellinger, Mason Bellinger, Noah Bellinger; siblings Rick McCoy (Claudia Roth) of Mt. Pleasant, Shelly (Jim) Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, Debbie (Tony) Falsetta of Mt. Pleasant, Mark (Kim) McCoy of Grand Rapids, Julie (Mark) Cole of Mt. Pleasant, David (Marcia) McCoy of Mt. Pleasant, Alan (Shelly) McCoy of Clare, Jim McCoy (Stephanie Sowinski) of Pasadena, MD, Dan Bellinger, father of her children; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, J.A. and Kathleen McCoy; and parents-in-law Myron and Sal Haggart.
