Obituary for Jeanette Marie Jacobs
JACOBS, JEANETTE MARIE, age 58, of Rosebush, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021, at her home with her family by her side.
Funeral Services for Jeanette will take place on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Benjamen Evers officiating. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Wise Township Hall. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 24, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Jeanette was born August 5, 1962, in Monroe, Michigan, the daughter of George and Wilma (Bashaw) Smith. She married the love of her life, Keith Jacobs on August 24, 1991. Jeanette worked for Isabella County Animal Control for several years. Camping, shopping, and spending time with her family were some of her favorite things to do. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and adored her fur babies Sparkle, Murphy, and Bella.
Jeanette is survived by her husband Keith; children Melissa (Clint) Hockridge of Mt. Pleasant, Jessica (Tobe) Gauthier of Clare, Duane (Alissa) Smith of Rosebush; grandchildren Bailey, Tyler, Kayla, Kendra, Zack, Nathaniel, Triston, Blake, Kaycee; great-grandson Aeiden; stepmother Lorraine Smith of Clare; siblings James Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Rodger (Maryjo) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Marie Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Curtis (Marla) Smith of Clare, and Shelby Smith of Holt, sister-in-law, Jane (John) Tuttle of Clare and brother-in-law: Norman (Karen) Jacobs of Arizona.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; brother Wesley Smith; parents-in-law Harold and Mary Jacobs; and her fur baby Brandy.
