Obituary for Jeffrey Allen Dell
DELL, JEFFREY ALLEN, age 62, of Shepherd, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at My Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Gratiot.
A Memorial Service for Jeff will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 1 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Animal Treatment Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Jeff was born on April 9, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Irvin and JoAnn (Smith) Curtis. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1978. Jeff currently worked as a truck driver for W.D.S. Trucking in Shepherd since 2006. He loved woodworking, building birdhouses. More than anything, Jeff loved his family; his daughters and grandkids were his world. 4th of July gatherings with his family were his favorite.
Jeff is survived by his daughters, Rebecca (William) Sharp of Harrison, Sarah (David) Bryant of Shepherd, Amy (David) Clark of Lake George; stepdaughters Aprillyn Nyhus of Alma and Amanda Nyhus of Alma; former spouses Rose Dell of Mt. Pleasant, Michelle Nyhus-Dell of St. Louis; grandchildren Phoenix, Madalynn, Landon, Lillyian, Thailan, Layla, Jeffrey, Jayden, Lucas, Brenden; siblings Vicki Love, Robert Dell, Gary Dell, Veronica Mitchell, Rita Rydman, Gail Nethers, Becky Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jean Tober.
