Obituary for Jerald D. Hill
Jerald “Jerry” D. Hill age 64 of Harrison passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Jerald was born February 10, 1959 in Michigan, the son of Mr. Hill and Mrs. Alice (Brandon) Hill. Jerry had resided in Harrison for many years.
Jerry was a fixture of Harrison, often he would be seen walking the streets of Harrison doing his own thing. He lived how he wanted and never had a care in the world and didn’t care what anyone thought of him. He was known to be a hustler, and was considered better than most. During the past five years, Jerry resided at Kirby’s AFC Home in Harrison, where he made many friends. He was known for his many jokes and sayings. Jerry was a very simple man who loved and enjoyed hanging out with friends, listening to music, smoking cigarettes and playing euchre. Jerry was loved by his family at Kirby’s AFC Home and considered everyone there his family. He will truly be missed by his staff and roommates.
Surviving Jerry are his great-nephews; Andy of Minnesota, Jon and Glenn of Harrison and many nieces, nephews and extended family members, and his family at Kirby’s. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Tonya Marie and Angela and one brother, Dan.
Graveside services for Jerry will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
