STAHL, JERRY ALLEN, age 79, of Clare, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Gratiot.

Jerry was born in Mt. Pleasant, July 14, 1941, the son of Leo and Lydia (Thompson) Stahl. He married Patricia Haynes on February 1, 1964, in Hale, Michigan. Jerry worked for General Motors for 30 years. He loved his morning coffee with his brother-in-law Don, traveling, and building everything by hand. He was a talented guitar player and enjoyed fishing and scrapping.
Jerry is survived by his wife Patricia Stahl; sons Jerry Van Stahl of Clare, John Michael (Pam) Stahl of Selma, AL; grandchildren Latricia Ann Stahl (Keith Russell) of Mt. Pleasant, Christopher Allen Stahl (Kendra Hood) of Mt. Pleasant; great-grandchildren Isaiah Mathew Harris, Metao Prestyn Harris, Maddison May Stahl; siblings Lois Stahl of Mt. Pleasant, Dorotha Frederick of Lansing, Carole Gill of Mt. Pleasant, Duane (Maxine) Stahl of Manchester, OH, Bob (Jean) Stahl of Dewitt, Janet (Phillip) Engwis of Mt. Pleasant, Nancy Switzer of Shepherd, Jo (Gary) Carey of Evart, Kate Wright of Ashland, TN, Tenny (Rick) Groenveld of Mt. Pleasant, and Sharon Liscomb of Mt. Pleasant.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; son Richard Allen Stahl; brother Richard Leo Stahl; and sisters Shirley Ann Liscomb and Rose Mary Stahl.
