Obituary for Jesse Smith
SMITH, JESSE, age 28, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital.
Funeral Services for Jesse will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Anthony Waldrop officiating. A luncheon will be held in Reflections Reception Center immediately following the service. Spring burial will take place at a later date at Denver Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Jesse was born in Flint, Michigan on January 22, 1994, the daughter of David and Diane (Nelson) Smith. She graduated from Shepherd High School with the class of 2012 Jesse loved spending time with her son and family gatherings. She was very artistic and creative. Shopping, going to the beach, painting and camping were some of her favorite pastimes.
Jesse is survived by her son Lukas Smith; parents James, Sr., and Kelli Smith; siblings Isabella Smith, Nicole (Erich, Sr.) Lehman, Josh (April) Schroeder, Cherie Gross, Heather Koryciak, Michael Koryciak; uncle, Richard Nickerson of Flint, aunt, Kimilee Nickerson of Shepherd, nieces and nephews: Erich Lehman Jr, Logan Lehman, Mycahh Lehman, Vegas Lehman, Sagelee Lehman, Adelaida Schroeder, Amelia Gross and Destiny Koryciak and half siblings: Davina, Samantha, Jennifer, Obadiah, and Michelle;
Jesse was preceded in death by her biological mother and father; and brothers: James Luke Smith, Jr and Obadiah Gatica.
