Obituary for Jessie Lynn Pegouskie (Chamberlain)
Jessie Lynn Pegouskie, 62, of Harrison passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
Jessie was born September 12, 1961, in Pryor, Oklahoma, the daughter of Donald and Geneva Chamberlain. Jessie was united in marriage to Mr. Mark P. Pegouskie on November 26, 1983. Jessie retired from nursing as an RN after 30 years of service. Jessie was devoted to her faith and love of God.
Mrs. Pegouskie resided in Harrison since 2013, coming from Grayling. Mrs. Pegouskie enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, reading and traveling with her husband of 41 years.
Surviving Mrs. Pegouskie are her loving husband, children; Sarah and husband Adam Hamilton, of Fairbanks, Alaska, Racheal Pegouskie of Midland, Michigan, Elizabeth Pegouskie of Incheon, KOR, Vicke Pegouskie of Midland and Matthew Pegouskie of Midland, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, siblings; Patty Wilkins of Strang, Oklahoma, Donna Cope and husband James of Pryor, Oklahoma, Lily Davis and husband Doug of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Clifford Chamberlain and wife Janice of Adair, Oklahoma, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Pegouskie was preceded in death by her father and siblings; Bonnie Smith, Chuck Chamberlain, and Sherry White.
Funeral Liturgy for Mrs. Pegouskie will be held in her honor on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service with Mr. Benjamen Evers officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial gifts in memory of Jessie may be considered to two causes special to Jessie's heart: Mercy Ships and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
