Joanne Marie Roy, age 86, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at her home under the care of Woodland Hospice.

A Memorial Service for Joanne will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 12, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Miller officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow at the church. The family will receive friends at the church on the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and the church.

Joanne was born on December 26, 1928, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Cecil and Dorothy (Jenkins) Funnell. She married Alvin "Al" Roy on October 16, 1948, in Rosebush. Joanne was a charter member of the ZONTA Club of Mt. Pleasant and a member of the Red Hats. She enjoyed playing Bridge and going to the theater.

Joanne is survived by husband of 67 years, Al of Mt. Pleasant; sons, Randall Roy, Brent (Brenda) Roy, and Alan (Shelly) Roy, all of Mt. Pleasant; 4 grandchildren, Aaron, Savannah, Drew, and Carter Roy; brother, Jerry (Nancy) Funnell; and sisters, Jeanne Mogg and Marilyn (Gene) Macalister.

Joanne was preceded in death by her grandson, Jonathan Roy; parents; and brother, Jim Funnell.
