Message to the Family: I have fond memories of "Joey" riding the go-cart and soaking in the hot tub with his sisters at Aaron's house. As a young man, Joe helped our mother after she took a bad fall. His smile kept her spirits up while she waited to see the doctor. Joe was at our parent's house the day the eagles came. Mom fondly remembers sharing that beautiful moment with him. Our parents remember when Joe borrowed their row boat, which turned out to be full of snakes. Joe wasn't fond of snakes! The boat also leaked. Joe repaired it so it was like new when he returned it. He believed in building new skill sets and improving himself, and he showed great respect for others. Joe was a thoughtful and gifted young man. His generous heart and warm smile will be missed.

Message to the Family: May this candle shine as a reminder of the light Joe put into our hearts, he touched so many lives with his wisdom and compassion.

Message to the Family: We have so many fond memories of Joey. We moved here when both boys were about 5 years old. He was the brother Grant never had and a part of our family. We cherish all the times he was with us.

Message to the Family: Joe was part of our family for 9 years and we were proud to call him family. He was a bright and intelligent young man who will always hold a special place in our hearts and be greatly missed. May God hold him in the palm of his hands until we meet again. John 14:2-4 My fathers house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.

Message to the Family: I had the pleasure of being able to work with Joe as an Intern at Consumers Energy this past summer. Joe and I would often work on projects together or bounce ideas off of each other when troubleshooting something. Joe was always eager to learn and ready to volunteer for anything. Joe was more than kind and always cheerful and I hope that similar memories always stay within his family's thoughts.
