Obituary for Joseph Earl Snyder
SNYDER, JOSEPH EARL, age 81, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at his home.
A Memorial Service for Joe will take place on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 4 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. A luncheon will immediately follow in Reflections Reception Center. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday beginning at 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Joe was born May 29, 1940, in Greenville, Kentucky, the son of Oliver and Lizzie (Crick) Snyder. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic for many years. He retired from Interstate Pipe after 28 years. Joe married Lisa Rodriguez on June 30, 1989, in Central City, Kentucky. He loved fishing, woodworking, and riding motorcycle.
Joe is survived by his wife Lisa Snyder; sister-in-law (aka second wife) Trisha Trasky; children Ricky (Kimberly) Snyder, Joseph Snyder, Jr., Norman (Heidi) Snyder, Rita (Aaron) Redman, Gypsy (Tirzo) Angiano, Stephanie Snyder, Shirley (Ronald) Rodriguez, Samantha Snyder, Sarah Snyder; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters Melba Jean Hendryx of Muskegon, Norma Simpson of Rockford, Patsy Sue Bird of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; son Spencer Snyder; daughter Tempie Snyder; brother James Snyder; and sister Retha Mae Laster.
