Joseph John Wiczorek, age 89 of Harrison passed away on Thursday February 7th, 2019. Joseph was born September 16th, 1929 in Emmett, Michigan the son of Helen and Harry Wiczorek. He graduated from Port Huron Central High School in 1947. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. After honorable discharge in 1950, Joseph married Ellen Adell Francis in 1955 and purchased a farm in Yale, Michigan as he loved farming and gardening. He resided in Yale until his retirement from Yale Public Schools in 1992 and then moved to Harrison, Michigan with his wife where they enjoyed taking frequent trips to the casino. He was preceded in death by his brothers Harry Jr., James, and John “Jack” Wiczorek.
He will be missed by his wife Ellen Wiczorek, daughter Bonnie (Mike) Mason, sons Bill and Brian Wiczorek, his four grandchildren, Josh (Mary) Hether, Elizabeth, Melany, and Sarah Wiczorek, and great granddaughter Alexandra Lee Hether.
