Joyce Gayesten Maybee, age 89, of Farwell, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Woodland Hospice House.

Joyce was born August 5, 1932, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Herman Franklin Myers and Evelyn Mae (Piehl) Myers Burris. She married Myron James Maybee on September 13, 1948, in Butler, OH, and was a housewife. Joyce loved her family and family-oriented activities. She loved taking photos of her family. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and being with friends.
Joyce is survived by her children, Michael Maybee of Farwell and Patricia (Dean) Twaddle of Almont; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Perro, Nathan Perro, Keaton Perro and Spencer Perro; 3 great-grandchildren, James Myron Perro, Isabella Perro and Sophia Perro; and brother Gary (Susie ) Myers.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Myron James Maybee; her parents; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
