Joyce Janet Swallow 88 of Farwell and Harrison passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Isabella County Medical Care Facility, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Joyce was born January 22, 1930 in New York, the daughter of Marguerite (Joyce) Young and Charles Young. Joyce was united in marriage to Mr. James Swallow. Mr. Swallow preceded Joyce in death in 2000.
Mrs. Swallow had resided in Farwell since 2000, coming from Florida. Joyce enjoyed sewing, reading, playing games on the computer and being surrounded by the family’s little children during family gatherings.
Surviving Mrs. Swallow is her brother, Charles Young Jr. and companion Esther of California, her cousin and caregiver, Rumsey Swallow and wife Ruby of Harrison, two brothers in law; John Swallow and wife Gaye of Northville, Michigan and Joel Swallow of Sarasota, Florida, plus a host of cousins and extended family members. Joyce also was preceded in death by her parents.
