Obituary for Karen Sue Carman
CARMAN, KAREN SUE, age 64, of Midland, passed away Sunday June 2, 2019 at her home.
A Memorial Service for Karen will be held at the Floyd Church of God in Midland on June 11, 2019, at 11 a.m.
Karen was born January 25, 1955, in Saginaw, the daughter of Frank and Ethel (Gallihugh) St. John. She graduated Breckenridge High School with the class of 1973. Karen worked as a housekeeper for Northwood University for many years and managed numerous convenience stores in the Midland area. Karen married Earl Carman on December 21, 1993 in Midland. She adored her children and grandchildren. Karen loved having them over to the house and spending time together.
Karen is survived by her husband Earl Carman of Midland; children Christina (Shane) Phovemire, Patricia Marko, and Benjamin (Danyelle) Linton, all of Midland; stepson Kevin (Michelle) Carman of Midland; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Darrell (Sandra) St. John of Breckenridge, Lester (Edna) St. John of Breckenridge, Tom (Barb) St. John of Colorado, Bob (Pam) St. John of Midland; sisters Yvonne (Ted) Forshee of Breckenridge and Jeannie (Gene) Hodder of Bay City.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; sister Lois Wiles; parents-in-law Helen and George Carman; and stepchildren Earl Carman, Jr. and Amy Carman.
