Obituary for Karen E. Tyson
TYSON, KAREN ELIZABETH, age 70, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital.
Cremation will take place at Daisy Hill in Mt. Pleasant. A Memorial Service for Karen will be held at a later date.
Karen was born February 22, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Madalynd (Maddox) Moss. She loved spending time with her family, reading, fishing, and poppin tags at the thrift store. Karen was a social butterfly and genuinely enjoyed meeting and talking to people. She never met a stranger.
Karen is survived by her children Becky (Larry) Sadler of Weidman, Yvonne Cruz of Mt. Pleasant, Rich (Tracy) Cruz of St. Helen, Jeremy Tyson of Mt. Pleasant, Susan Tyson (Kyle Wright) of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Haylee Montoya, Brandon Sadler, Chelsey Cruz, Shelly Sadler, Randee Gage, Joseph Higbie, Devin Tyson, Serina Theisen, Jonny Higbie, Hunner Faylor, Parker Cruz; great-grandchildren Bryson Hansel and Braidyn Hansel; sisters Deborah (Joe) Henson and Patricia (Joseph) Sexton and brothers Mike (Debbie) Taylor, John (Bonnie) Smith, Rex Moss.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Richard Moss.
