Obituary for Keith Dennis "George of the Jungle" Troutt

Keith Dennis Troutt, born in Flint Mi on November 1st 1965 passed away Sunday September 5th at the age of 55.

Keith was a fun loving, good time fella that we all loved and will miss greatly.

When he was younger, as teens do, he got into some trouble, but overcame all of that and went on to make a very good life for himself. He had just started a new job, had an apartment and was enjoying life.

Anyone who ever knew Keith knew that he was an animal lover and had several pets, but his most loved was a long haired dachshund called Dirty Red. He loved that dog so much and took him everywhere he went.

Keith loved motorcycles, bike riding, snowmobiling, anything that was outdoors. He also was an avid reader of most anything, mysteries being his favorite.

Keith was preceded in death by his father Dennis (Fritz) Troutt of Tennessee, his father John Skyrme, both sets of grandparents and a young nephew Caleb Skyrme, who we just lost three months ago.

Surviving Keith is his mother Janet Labadie and husband Barry of Harrison, sisters Stephanie (Bud Hartwell), Susan Anthony, Dawn (Brian Sands) and three sisters in Tennessee, Tina, Sally and Melissa Troutt. Two brothers, Scott Troutt (Denise) and one brother Anthony Troutt of Tennessee. One Aunt Cheryl and family ,Uncle Randy and family and Uncle Jerry and family of Flint, Mi. Uncle Ernest(Vivian)Lane of Clare, and Uncle Barry and Aunt Reva Henry of Harrison. Several cousins, nieces and nephews on both sides of his family. To those I have missed I apologize.

There will be a memorial service held for Keith at a later date. He gave his last gift to people by donating skin and tissue graphs and his cornea’s for many people.

We want to thank the Lapeer Hospital for all the wonderful things they helped with throughout this hard time and a special thanks to Stacy Stocking and his great staff for all the help they gave us.

Cremation is being handled through the Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison, Mi.

Any donations to the family can be sent through Stocking Funeral Home.
