Passed away peacefully Monday October 7, 2019 surrounded by his family. Ken was born September 27, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan to Arnold and Esther (Thomas) Krueger. He attended Holy Cross Lutheran School and graduated from Arthur Hill in 1952. On February 27, 1954 he married his High school sweetheart Barbara Whitmer and together they raised their 5 children. Ken worked at Saginaw Chevy Manufacturing retiring in 1990.
He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. He especially liked baking bread using his mother’s recipe.
Ken is survived by his wife Barbara, children Kathy (Rod) Marr of Merrill, Ken (Becky) Krueger of Breckenridge, Karen (Brad) Wolfgang of Midland, Keith Krueger of Wheeler and Kurt (Teresa) Krueger of Saginaw. Brothers Don (Bev) Krueger, Larry (Peg) Krueger, Bernard Krueger, a sister Marilyn and a Sister In-Law Carol Pieper.
13 Grandchildren, Kris (Jamie) Hurley, Mike (Michelle) Marr, Pat (Angie) Marr, Ryan (Rebecca) Marr, Rachel (Shawn) May, Mike (Jaime) Krueger, Sarah (Brent) Chapman, Cory Niederstadt, Tyler Niederstadt, Mitch Wolfgang, Dan (Liz) Wolfgang, Corbin Krueger, Laine Krueger and 14 Great Grand Children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Carl, Sisters Betty and Marlene, Sister In-Law Kay-Ann and an infant son David.
According to the wishes of the deceased, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his life will be held October 19th from 1-3PM at the Hilltop Banquet Center (Formerly Maple Hill Clubhouse) 540 S. Orr Road, Hemlock, MI.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you to donate to the Friends of the Howe Memorial Library in Breckenridge Michigan.
