Obituary for Leonard James "Lenny" Crimando

CRIMANDO, LEONARD JAMES, age 72, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor.

A Celebration of Life for Leonard will be held at Victory Christian Center, 2445 S. Lincoln Rd., on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dar Blanshan officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow at the Eagle's in Weidman. The family will receive friends at the church Monday, March 1, from 6 until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and Victory Christian Center.

Leonard was born on August 24, 1948, in Detroit, son of Joseph and Dorothy (Pettinato) Crimando. He married Cheryl Brown on March 18, 1972, in Utica, MI. Leonard proudly served his country in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. Leonard worked as an electrician for over 40 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching his son play drums, and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed watching war and John Wayne movies.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Cheryl Crimando; son, Joseph (Kristen Stockwell) Crimando; grandchildren, Ayden, Brenna, Emalee, and Alexandria; sister, Rose Crimando; brother, Bill Crimando; and little companion, Izzy.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents.
