Obituary for Madonna Nartker Finney (Nartker)

FINNEY, MADONNA NARTKER,of Beal City passed away Monday afternoon, surrounded by her family. She was 90.

Madonna was an avid hunter, home cook and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren without limit. In her younger years she raised horses with her father. She was born November 10, 1926, in Pontiac, Michigan to Rudy and Marie Nartker. She worked for 20 years for the Bell telephone system in Michigan and Florida, retiring as a Chief Operator.

She is survived by her two children, Madonna Finney (and Michael Yelvington) of Tallahassee, Florida and Jim Finney (and Tammy) of Beal City. She loved all of her grandchildren including Maggie, Daniel, Briana and her youngest, Johnny. Her oldest grandson, James Anthony Finney (and Mykayla Finney) of Lake Isabella was the light of his grandmother's life and was with her at her passing. James and Mykayla gave Madonna three great grandsons, Ayden, Anthony and Ezra.

A private service will be held at Clark Funeral Chapel in Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday with close family and friends. Madonna will be interred at the grave site of her beloved father, Rudolph "Rudy" Francis Nartker.
