Obituary for Majin Reyes
REYES, MAJIN, age 75, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away December 29, 2019 at Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral Services for Majin will take place on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Benjamen Evers officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Following burial, a luncheon will take place at Reflections Reception Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Majin was born January 11, 1944, in Donna, Texas, the son of Juan and Consuelo (Sauceda) Reyes. He was a truck driver for most of his life. Majin was a hard worker and enjoyed his job. He also loved time spent with his family.
Majin is survived by his former wife, Guadalupe Reyes of Mt. Pleasant; 3 daughters Nora Reyes of Mt. Pleasant, Maricela (Robert) Gomez of Ithaca, and Criselda Fockler of San Diego, CA; 9 grandchildren James Bonoite, Josh Bonoite, Jordan Gomez, Chelsea Gomez, Alina Fockler, Adrianna Fockler, Madison Fockler, Ryan Sump, and Aaron Sump; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Juan (Sally) Reyes of Mt. Pleasant, Alfredo (Maria) Reyes of Barrien Springs, MI, Jose (Gloria) Reyes of Harlingen, TX, Rudy Reyes of Donna, TX; sisters Olivia Reyes, Juana Reyes, Concha (Mike) Reyes, all of Donna, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Majin was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers Robert Reyes, Rene Reyes, Rosendo Salinas, and Pancho Salinas.
