Obituary for Marcia Kay David (Forward)
DAVID, MARCIA KAY, age 76, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral Services for Marcia will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church on Saturday, October 16, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Sr. Diane Stier officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church the day of the service from 12 noon until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and church.
Marcia was born on December 6, 1944, in Grand Rapids, daughter of Stanley and Freda (VanderHooning) Forward. She married Ronald David on September 12, 1975, in Mt. Pleasant. Marcia worked in custodial services for the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools for 19 years. She was a member at St. John's Episcopal Church and enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing, talking, cooking, and being around others.
Marcia is survived by her children, Joseph Braford of Ravenna, Gail (Scott) Walldorff of Greenville, Raschelle (Roger) Hauck of Mt. Pleasant, Chad David of Edmore, Brandy (Dean Moore) David of Winn, and stepchildren, Ronald David, Jr. of Alma, Gerry David of Riverdale, Susan (Todd Wilson) Sanderson of Mt. Pleasant, and Michael (Karen) David of Oklahoma ; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, Theodore and Henry; brother, Roland (Carol) Forward of Grand Rapids; and sister, Patricia Jacobus of Zeeland.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald David in 2011; parents; brother, Charles (Maxine) Forward.
