GRABOW, MARGARET BEA "PEGGY", age 87, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Laurel's of Mt. Pleasant.
A Memorial Service for Peggy will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Central Michigan Free Methodist Church, with Pastor Gordy Houser officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in the fellowship hall. Memorial contributions may be made to International Child Care Ministries, 770 N. High School Road, Indianapolis, IN 46214.
Peggy was born August 11, 1931, in Ferndale, Michigan, the daughter of Theodore and Beatrice (Freeman) Mielke. She graduated from Ferndale High School with the Class of 1948. Peggy married Patrick Mack, and he preceded her in death in 1974. She married John Grabow, and he preceded her in death in 2006. Peggy was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She loved spending time with her family.
Peggy is survived by her brother Jim (Ruth) Dunstan of Portage; her children, Julie Wyatt of Booneville, AR, Dennis (Sue) Mack of Port St. Richie, FL, John (Candy) Mack of Shepherd and Jim Mack of Oklahoma City, OK; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Frances Lassman; brother John Mielke; sisters Elvina Long, Isabelle West, and Frances Richey.
