PROUT, MARILYN SUE, age 74, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at her home.

Marilyn was born March 18, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Merle and Phyllis (Border) Anderson.
Marilyn is survived by her children Randy Prout of Blanchard, John Prout (Roxanne) of Blanchard, Deana Prout of Remus; 6 grandchildren Don Prout, Kyle Hauger, Sydney McArthur, Maddie McArthur, Savannah Sue, Adrienne Prout; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Merle Anderson, Robert Anderson, Doug Hinkle; and sisters Sharon McDonald, Stacey Anderson, Patricia Hutchinson, and Chris McDonald.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Byron Hinkle.
