Obituary for Marilyn A. Schultz (Budd)

Marilyn Arlene Schultz (Budd), 81, passed away on August 2nd, 2022 peacefully at the home of her son (Robert Archamboult) in Lansing, Michigan while on Hospice care after suffering a stroke on June 13th, 2022.

Born September 11th, 1940 in Clare, Michigan, she was the daughter of Zeno R. Budd and Ruby Budd (Vollmer). Marilyn graduated from Harrison Community High School in 1978. She was employed by the Spartan Ashcraft Store in Harrison, MI as a cashier and later at the Dimondale retirement Center in Dimondale, MI where she retired. She was a member of Miller Road Senior Center in Lansing, MI and the UAW 652 Spouse of retirees where she was very active in Bingo, playing cards, Pot Lucks, and Casino trips.

Marilyn enjoyed spending time with friends and family (especially her grandkids and great grandkids), playing games and socializing. She enjoyed hosting events at her home and taking her grandkids to the Ingham County fair each year. She always looked forward to family gatherings such as Christmas parties, weddings, and the annual family reunions of the March, Vollmer, Albee, Wright, and Schultz families. Devoted Mother, Grandmother, and friend, Marilyn shared a strong bond with many and she will be missed by all.

She is survived by her brother, Wilbur (Bill/Gene) Budd & his wife Cheryl of Lansing Ml., her son Robert Archamboult of Lansing MI, son Robin Archamboult of Harrison MI, daughter Cindy Fields of Dansville MI, and step-daughter Wendy Helmic & her husband Mike of Lansing MI, as well as 16 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, CL Schultz (Jan 1996), her son Richard (Ricky) Archamboult (Dec 1959), her sister Wilma Budd (1936), and her brothers Zeno C. Budd (2003) and Jacob (Jake) Budd (2010).

Marilyn was cremated on (Aug 8 th , 2022) at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes.

The Memorial Service for Marilyn (Budd) Schultz and Nephew Zeno (Butch) Budd will be held at; Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service in Harrison, Michigan on Saturday, Oct 1, 2022 @ 10:45 am with Pastor Raymond McClintic officiating. Followed by a Visit to the Hillcrest Cemetery west of Harrison on old M-61 for placement of Ashes.

The dinner will be held at Harrison Moose Lodge North of town Starting at 2:00-2:30 Pm
