Obituary for Marjorie Ann Crean

CREAN, MARJORIE ANN, age 80, of Mt. Pleasant, went to be with her lord and savior on Thursday surrounded by her family, January 17, 2019 at Brookdale Senior Living in Midland.

Funeral Services for Marjorie will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tom Ellsworth officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Sunday beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HATS (Humane Animal Treatment Society) at www.hatsweb.org or the Isabella County Commission on Aging. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Marjorie was born December 29, 1938, in Clare County, the daughter of Aaron and Gertrude (Pringer) Brink. She graduated from Harrison High School with the class of 1957. Marjorie worked for many years at U.S. Marble, served as Treasurer at Bethel Temple Assembly of God, and provided care in a home-based environment to children and adults. She was always active in her church, enjoyed crafts and gardening, and socializing with friends. Above all, Marjorie loved her family dearly and adored her grandchildren. She was a true caregiver of family, friends, and animals.

Marjorie is survived by her son Tom (Joani) Crean of Statham, GA; daughter Michelle (Shannon) Dean of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Megan (23), Riley (19), and Ainsley (13); brothers James Brink of Sterling, and Raymond (Wanda) Brink of Mt. Pleasant; sister Helen Phillips of Mason; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Jack.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; and 5 brothers John, Henry, Ernest, Herman, and Robert.
