Obituary for Marjorie M "Marge" Willer (Swartz)
Marjorie M. Willer age 91 of Harrison passed away at her home on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Marjorie was born December 27, 1930 in Holly, Michigan the daughter of Albert E. Swartz and Carmen M. (Jewel) Swartz. Marjorie graduated from Holly High School in 1948. Marjorie was united in marriage to Mr. David Earl Willer on March 3, 1951 in Angola, Indiana. Mr. Willer preceded her in death on October 12, 2006 after fifty-five years of marriage.
Mrs. Willer had resided in Harrison since 1996, moving from Fenton, Michigan. Marjorie was a member of Harrison United Brethren Church, Harrison. Mrs. Willer enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing, playing Bingo, cheering for her Detroit Tigers, Michigan State University football games and Central Michigan University Sports.
Surviving Marjorie is her daughter, Anne Willer and wife Laurie of Harrison, daughter in law, Missy Willer of Harrison, two grandchildren; Amanda Carlson and husband Ryan of Winter Garden, Florida and Scott Willer of Harrison, two great-grandchildren; Garrett Carlson and Graham Carlson, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mrs. Willer also was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Gary Willer, one sister, Dorothy Swartz and three brothers; Donald Swartz, Leo Swartz and Albert Swartz Jr.
Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Willer will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Wendy Kindel officiating. A time of gathering will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
