Obituary for Mark Mitchell Kaminske
KAMINSKE, MARK MITCHELL, age 69, of Weidman, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant.
A Memorial Service for Mark will take place on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. A luncheon will immediately follow in Reflections Reception Center. The family will greet friends beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Mark was born February 25, 1952, in Detroit, the son of Arthur and Irene (Medici) Kaminske. He graduated from Mt. Clemens High School with the class of 1971, where he wrestled and played football. Mark married Diane Muszynski on June 28, 1980. He worked for many years for U.S. Pattern Company in Richmond, Michigan as a metal pattern maker and retired in 2016. Mark loved fishing, especially trout fishing on Gilchrist and Hunt Creek. Mark’s wishes were for his ashes to be placed in Gilchrist Creek, the creek between where his parents had a home on County Road 612 in Atlanta, Michigan. He also liked spending time with his cats, Shadow, Pumpkin, and Onyx.
Mark is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diane Kaminske; brothers Richard Kaminske, Bill (Vicki) Kaminske, Nick (Judy) Kaminske; sisters Ilene (Al) Lannoo, Kathy Kaminske (Joe Brown); 14 nieces and nephews; Godchildren Shannon and Sean; and his mother-in-law Margaret Muszynski.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Artie and Chris; 2 nephews; sister-in-law Kathy Kaminske; and father-in-law Bruno Muszynski.
