Obituary for Markeith Anne Bunker
BUNKER, MARKEITH ANNE, age 85, of Rosebush, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at her home of natural causes.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Multiple Sclerosis Association.
Markeith was born March 22, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Homer and Myrtle (Lynch) Moses. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1955. She married Leon Bunker on November 5, 1955, and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2002. Markeith loved fishing, camping, dancing, and playing cards.
Markeith is survived by her children Gary (Claire) Bunker of Rosebush, Darla (Ken) Cooley of Big Rapids, Gregg Bunker of Stanwood; grandchildren Rebecca (Joey) Bunker-Cass, Kirk (Kathleen) Bunker, Jack Bunker (Kristen Birch), Joshua Cooley, Jacob Cooley; great-grandchildren Paul Greggory, Leon, Markeith, Michael, and two on the way.
Markeith was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Leon.
