Obituary for Marshall Gilbert Lalone Sr.
LALONE, MARSHALL GILBERT SR., age 73, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021.
A Memorial Service for Marshall will be help at Glad Tidings Church Oil City Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 2 p.m. with Aaron Zeiler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. A luncheon will follow in the church’s basement.
Marshall was born June 4, 1948, in Bay City, son of Marshall Lloyd and Freda (Davis) Lalone. He married Sunny A. DeGolier on April 25, 1967. Marshall was devoted to his church and served as a board member for Glad Tidings. Serving others was a passion of Marshalls. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, building, woodworking, fishing, camping, and traveling.
Marshall is survived by his wife, Sunny; Children, Marshall (Betty) Lalone Jr., Ronda (John) Farlow, April Rene Lalone, John Paul (Christy) Lalone; adopted sons: Matthew Lalone; MJ Boynton-Lalone; Quincy Lalone and Nicholas Henry Lalone; 9 grandchildren, Kassandra, Bobbi Jo, Amber, Logan, Taylor, Trenton, Sunny, Marcy, Emilee; 16 Great-Grandchildren; and Sister, Shirley Anthony.
Marshall is preceded in death by his parents; Adopted Brother, Cordon Wolfe; Brother-in-law, Rodney Anthony; Great-grandchildren, Helen and John Paul Jr. Lalone.
