Obituary for Mary Ann Maki
Mary Ann Maki passed away Friday, July 30th, 2021, at the age of 75.
Mary was born in Grand Rapids, Mi. on April 25th, 1946, the daughter of Merlyn and Florence (Stube) Wilkie, Mary was primarily a homemaker and worked a portion of her life as an administrative assistant. Mary enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, canning, sewing and spending time with family and friends. Mary loved her family and her two pet companions Lily and Sophie.
Mary is survived by her brother Rob (Gail) Wilkie, children Lyle (Janice) Witt Jr, Kathy Witt, Melissa (Mark) Smith, Michael (Patience) Witt and Richard Witt; two stepchildren, Jennifer Maki, Katherine (Tom) Maki, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, John Maki, her parents, sister Sharlene (Wilkie) Smalley, brother Tom Wilkie and stepdaughter Aislinn Maki.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at the Senior Citizens Center (14480 Webster Rd. Bath Township, MI 48808) on Saturday, August 14, from 2-4 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, Mary's family request any donations be made to local humane society agencies. The family was assisted with arrangements by Clark Family Funeral Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
