Aunt Mary & the Todink family have been a wonderful, loving part of our extended family for many many years. I as a child remember going up to the farm climbing the big tree in the driveway swimming in the river Aunt Mary showing us how to pick corn and feeding her farm kitties. As a young adult I still enjoyed going to the farm with my family sitting on the deck having a drink and yes feeding the cats or a racoon that would wander up to us. Our family truly misses the Todinks that Mary now joins and I am a better person for being blessed to call them FAMILY & to have them in my life. I hope they all know what an impact they made in my life . Aunt Mary & all the family are and will be missed but will always be thought of and loved.

Dear Aunt Mary. I’m so glad your with my dad. We really just loved you and loved the way you made our son Jonathan feel so special! We so wished to get out there again while Uncle Johnnie was still alive. Someday we’ll all be together! Thank you Aunt Mary for the love, the cards, the laughter! We will miss you. Love always, Matt, Cindy, and Jonathan too! πŸ’•πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

I enjoyed many years with Mary as a friend, starting in the late 1970s when I moved to Mt. Pleasant to teach at CMU. I recall her love for animals and how she always fed those feral cats who got to know her and gather 'round when she brought meals. Of course, they took care of mice and other unwanted creatures in return. She was also faithful helping her Sister Florence by watching her dog on occasion. We often took walks together back by the river where we learned from each other about plants and mushrooms and enjoyed many hours of fun X-country skiing on "the farm" back in the days when it was very popular here in Isabella County. I always enjoyed being with her family, Mom, brothers and sisters, and during those days, young nieces and nephews. I also enjoyed her support in my own family matters. I will surely miss our annual "Birthday Call" which we made every year since it was only 9 days between our Birthdays. We usually went out to eat to celebrate. Mary loved her family and did all she could to bring happiness to them, that was evident. She will always be in my prayers, especially when it is our Birthday Times! My sincere sympathy and prayers to family and friends. Sincerely and with much Love, Sister Marie Kopin, C.PP.S.
