Obituary for Mason Ray Jackson
JACKSON, MASON RAY, age 33, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023.
Funeral Services for Mason will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 1 p.m. A luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Mason was born in Mt. Pleasant, June 1, 1989, the son of Michael Jackson and Rachel Francis. He was a proud member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Mason loved adventure; spending time outdoors hiking and fishing were some of his favorites. He loved his family and anytime spent with his kids more than anything.
Mason is survived by his children, David Ray Jackson, Alayna Ray Jackson, Mavrick “Giiwedin” William Austin-Jackson; mother Rachel Francis; father Michael (Lena) Jackson; sister Rebecca Jackson; aunts LeAna Sams, Nina Francis, Reba Navejar; nieces and nephews Mark Jo Cantu, Rouvario Cantu, Manolo Sage Cantu, Violet Louise Jackson Green, Emile Joaquin Jackson, and Billie Jo Jackson
Mason was preceded in death by his sister Micheala Jackson; grandma Catherine Jackson; grandma Nelxine Avis Francis; grandparents Nelson and Emily Kahgegab; aunt Michelle Jackson; and Uncle Pete Compo.
