Michael Charles Preger, age 71, passed away November 7, 2023 after a lengthy battle with cancer. At the time, he was living with his son, Matthew Wolfe and fiancé, Sophia Reid, who cared for him until his passing. Michael was born at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Green County, Ohio to parents Herman and Anne Preger. Michael graduated from Pinconning High School in 1970. He then went on to become a highly skilled mechanic working for Linwood Cycle Sales, and Stevens Cycle Sales and Boating Marinas.
Michael loved his blue Honda motorcycle that was a big part of his life as a young man. He also loved muscle cars, hunting, fishing, and his souped up quad, along with his son and friends in the garage and having a good time. Michael loved his PACMAN games and Sci-Fi movies. He always had a good heart for helping others.
Michael is survived by his mother, Anne Preger; Son, Matthew Wolfe; stepdaughter, Sarah Garner; his children’s mother, Carol Wolfe; Michael’s loving family, Sheila and Jim Dodge, Debra Jordan, Julie and Mark Coltson; brother, Robert Preger; Aunts, Deloris Shim and Charlene Monsion; nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place per his wishes at Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services (989) 539-7810.
