Obituary for Moses Leonard Wilson Jr.

WILSON JR., MOSES LEONARD, age 53, passed, Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Mclaren Hospital in Lansing.

Funeral Services for Moses will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 21st at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. to the time of service. A luncheon will be held after the service at Shirley and Marlins home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel. Those attending visitation or the service are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing. For those unable to attend, a livestream of the service will be available to watch.

Moses was born on January 24th, 1967 in Traverse City, the son of Moses and Shirley (Martell) Bennett. He was a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. Moses enjoyed fishing, swimming, jogging and he was a gifted artist that he took after his father. Moses loved to help family and friends and he received the Lord before the end of his life.

Moses is survived by his mother, Shirley (Marlin) Bennett of Mt. Pleasant, sister, Melody Harris Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, nieces, Laken, Alexandra and Jade Anderson, nephew, Anthony Anderson Jr.
great niece Terrilyn Anderson, great nephews DeAndre and Demetrus Yarbrough and Matthew Anderson.

Moses was preceded in death by his father Moses Sr., his sister Terrilyn Wilson, grandparents Delora and James Wilson, Howard and Julia Martell and Louise Shawanabin.
