Nancy Lee Fouts 86 of Harrison, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Nancy was born April 21, 1932 in Cheboygan County, Michigan, the daughter of Edgar and Jennie (Woolhouse) Dow. On July 13, 1990, in Denton, Texas, Nancy was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Fouts. Mr. Fouts preceded Nancy in death on March 27, 2006 after fifteen years of marriage.
Mrs. Fouts had resided in Harrison since 1996, coming from Denton, Texas. Nancy was a former Frost Township Supervisor for many years. She enjoyed making clothes, upholstering furniture, gardening, yardwork, solving crossword puzzles and assembling jig saw puzzles.
Surviving are her five children: Judy Jackson and husband John, Keith Dutcher and wife Illene, Ron Dutcher, Pam Dutcher and Carol Arnold, Charles’s daughter-in-law, Sherry Fouts; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren: one brother and one sister. She also was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and seven sisters.
Graveside services honoring Mrs. Fouts will be held at a later date in 2019. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harrison.
