Nicholas “Nick” Frank Szypula-Miller, age 35, of Harrison passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 22, 2023.
Funeral Services for Nick will be held at Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel, 165 West Oak Street, Harrison, on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Keller officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorial gifts in memory of Nick may be considered to the Szypula-Miller family, in care of: Kimberly August. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Nick was born November 23, 1987 in Lincoln Park, Michigan the son of David Miller and Kimberly Szypula. Nick loved his time spent with his son and grandpa. He found enjoyment fishing, bowling, hunting, seeking out collectables, gardening and off-roading adventures.
Nicholas is survived by his son, Breydon J. Szypula, mother, Kimberly August and husband Mike, father, David Miller and wife Donna, two brothers; David Aaron Miller and Joseph Edward Miller and wife Haley, one step-brother, Michael August Jr., five step-sisters; Alexis Burdick, Amber Bolan, Ashley Tovar, Nicole Newman and Katelyn Sidock, maternal grandparents, Richard and Nancy Szypula, plus many nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Aries. Nick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mitchell and Norita Miller.
