Obituary for Pamelia Jean Deming-McClellan

DEMING-McCLELLAN, PAMELIA JEAN, age 70, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Alma, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services for Pam will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 5 p.m., with Cheryl Davis officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Isabella Soup Kitchen. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Pam was born in Mt. Pleasant, June 9, 1948, the daughter of Fred and Zetave (Bryan) Deming. She married Tony McClellan on June 12, 2000. Pam worked at Pleasant Manor, Family Home Health Care, Up John, and Big Apple Bagels. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Fraternal Order of Eagles #306, and the Moose Lodge #338. Pam enjoyed reading, bingo, and playing cards.

Pam is survived by her husband Tony McClellan; children: Teresa Fuller of Mt. Pleasant, and Julia (Matt) Blizzard of Sarasota, FL; grandson Douglas Baird III (Fiance Mandy Stafford) of Sarasota, FL; brothers George (Betty) Demming of Bankers, Homer (Chris) Deming of Lakeview; sisters Sandra (Bobby) Hicks of Jerome, Patricia VanHorn of Mt. Pleasant, Barbara (Bill) Nickles of Van Wert, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents; loving son Robbie Coffell; and brother Randall Deming.
