Obituary for Patricia Ann Canute
Canute, Patricia Ann, age 87 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at her home.
Cremation has taken place at Daisy Hill Crematory. A private memorial service for Patricia will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Patricia was born on March 22, 1934, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Samuel Walter Widener and Anna Mae (Harkins) Diehl. She married Clair Canute on October 23, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant. Patricia worked for Isabella Bank as a teller and in customer service for 22 years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and computer games. Patricia loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her children: Brenda Canute and William (Laura) Canute, both of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren: Erik (Krista) Canute and Alyson (Tanner Jenkins) Canute; and great-granddaughter: Bella Jenkins.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Barry Canute and brother, Bill Widener.
