Obituary for Patrick LeRoy Hoffman
HOFFMAN, PATRICK LeROY, age 73, of Vestaburg, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at My Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland.
Graveside Services for Pat will take place Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Ferris Cemetery in Vestaburg. Memorial contributions may be made to My Mid-Michigan Hospice.
Pat was born January 15, 1950, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Anthony and June (Beebe) Hoffman. He graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1968. Pat was a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country from 1970-1972. He worked for many years at Total Refinery in Alma. Following the shutdown of Total, Pat went to work as a corrections officer for the Michigan Department of Corrections in Carson City. He continued that career for 20 years. Pat enjoyed his gardens, along with fishing and hunting.
Pat is survived by his children, Valleri (Brian) Marshall of Winn, Daryl Hoffman of Vestaburg, Becky Hoffman of Edmore; brothers Hugh Hoffman of Mt. Pleasant, Gary (Rita) Hoffman of Alma; sisters Janice Bacoccini of Toledo, OH, Nancy Hoffman of Alma.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; brother Tim Hoffman; and sister Marilyn Hoffman.
