Westbrook, Patrick Charles, age 64, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020, at his home.
A Memorial Service and Luncheon for Patrick will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, in the Reflections Reception Center at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Patrick was born December 7, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Scott and Ruth (Kroetsch) Westbrook. He married Christine Hall on July 7, 2007, in Higgins Lake. Patrick graduated in the Class of 1974 from Mt. Pleasant High School. He was the owner of Bulldog Towing. He was also previously employed as a carpenter for the carpenter’s union for over 30 years and as a rig hand in the oilfields. Patrick was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed doing yard work and gardening. He was a fan of sports, and especially watching NASCAR, NFL football, and baseball, as well as watching and playing golf. He loved all kinds of music and singing and playing guitar. He enjoyed going to the casino and concerts.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Christine Westbrook of Mount Pleasant; son Patrick Clay Westbrook of Mt. Pleasant and step-children Melinda Stahl (Nate Hekker) of Grand Rapids and Thomas “TJ” DeLong II of Mt. Pleasant; 2 grandchildren, Jackson and Noella; and sisters Lynn (Bernie) Retelle of Bay City, Jeanette (David) Graham of Parker, CO, and Darlene (Troy) Pickett of Waukegon, IL.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Michael Westbrook and Daniel Lee Westbrook; infant sister Sue; and infant granddaughter Charlotte.
