Obituary for Paul Martin Zilska

Paul Martin Zilska 83 of Harrison was born June 28, 1939, at the family home to Herman and Lilah (Erskine) Zilska. On December 3, 1960, Paul was united in marriage to Ms. Rosetta F. Jenkins in Coleman, Michigan.
Throughout their marriage, Paul held numerous jobs, from working at a laundry service in Midland, Michigan to his final job at Harrison Community Schools as a custodian where he was employed for twenty-four years until his retirement. Paul enjoyed being an outdoorsman, hunting, fishing and gardening and cherished the time spent with his family.
Paul is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Rosetta of Harrison, two sons: Martin Zilska and wife Theresa of Evart, Michigan and Mark Zilska and wife Patti of Harrison, one daughter, Mary Pifher and husband Jeff of Harrison, six loving grandchildren: Bethany, Justina, Mark Andrew, Tracie (Kenn) Kayla (Sean) and Breana, seven great-grandchildren: Sophie, Hendrix, Simon, Shiloh, Nick, Connor and Nolan, four siblings: Albert and friend Sue of Wisconsin, Donna and husband Denny of Sanford, Alice and husband Steve of Wisconsin and Sandy and husband Tom of Florida, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Russ and John and three sisters: Jeanette, Mill and Lill.
Celebration of Life services honoring Paul will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 2 p.m. at the Harrison City Park Pavilion C. Memorial gifts in memory of Paul may be considered to the Zilska family, in care of: Rosetta “Rose” Zilska.
