Obituary for Penelope Ann "Penny" Storey
Penelope "Penny" Ann Storey, age 54 passed away at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Penelope was born June 12, 1968 in Charlotte, Michigan the daughter of Virgil Currier and Barbara (Jenks) Angeline. Penny graduated from Harrison Community Schools, class of 1986.
Penny had resided in Harrison since 1975, moving from Hastings, Michigan. She was passionate about helping others in need and always put herself second. Penny loved spoiling her grandchildren, baking and cooking for her family, crocheting, crafting, and camping. She loved watching the Lifetime Network, daily soaps, and the news channel. Listening to music when the television wasn't, on, especially when a Martina McBride or Keith Urban songs were playing.
Surviving Penelope is her companion of thirty plus years. Mr. Paul J. Norton of Harrison, six loving children: Krista Reinke and husband Mark of Gladwin, Michigan, Timothy Fisher and wife Christina of Harrison, Brittany Fisher of Gladwin, Trevor Norton of Clare, Michigan, Brianna West and husband Jaren of Farwell, Michigan and Jordan Norton of Gladwin, fifteen grandchildren plus one arriving soon, three sisters, five brothers and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Penny was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister.
Funeral services honoring Penny will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. with Elder James Reinke officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment will be in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison at a later date. Memorial gifts in memory of Penelope may be considered to the Storey Family, in care of: Krista Reinke.
